I have three woodsheds on my property–two for storing wood for projects and one for firewood. One of my favorite things about them are the reclaimed wood shingles. They are made from discarded fence slats. They are sturdy and keep everything dry.

They can be set with posts into the ground, or the pillars can be placed atop concrete blocks. I have done both, and they have withstood the winds of the past two hurricanes.
